The Red Rock Praire Trail

Stretching along a former rail corridor, the Red Rock Prairie Trail connects Monroe and Prairie City across approximately 10 scenic miles. An extension from Prairie City leads directly to the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, offering even more to explore. The paved trail winds through classic Iowa landscapes, with sweeping views of cornfields and native prairie grasses.
